Walter Trout is a bluesman to the core. Inspired to play live blues by a chance meeting with Duke Ellington and cured of destructive drinking and drugging by a close encounter with Carlos Santana, Trout plays live over 300 days a year. In Europe he can barely walk down the street without being noticed, but in America, home of Brittany Spears, he's happy filling up the Coach House on a good night, and his fans are happy to have…

DEEP RED Dario Argento, Director Anchor Bay   Forget the great Italian locations, the flimsy story line, the bad dubbing, the tricky revelation of the murderer, the only thing that matters in this film is the amazing art direction and the spontaneous shriek-inducing ending. Not to reveal too much, but it is sufficient to say, you will believe a human head can pop right open with enough pressure. This is a must have for Argento fans, and a must see…

More to the point, fans were abuzz about the fact that she was funding it out of pocket, with a little help from her fans. Little Willow, who runs the Amber Benson fan site THE ESSENCE OF AMBER soon after began promoting the…

Lauren Porosoff Mitchell's first book LOOK AT ME chronicles the life of Dana, a slut with a good job and a hankering for more. What that more is, she does not know. With an English degree, a law degree, a new marriage and a spectacular first novel under her belt, Mitchell, unlike her protagonist, seems to know exactly what she wants. We spoke via the web between our busy days and she about talked her book, her love of…
